Whenever i try to connect to MSN Messenger i get an error

Following is the Error Code = 80072745

Furthermore i can Sign in to Web MSN Messenger n can use it.
Also i m not able to connect my Bitlord a torrent client.

    Ya thanks for the reply.
I have tried new MSN as well but to no avail.
I think new ISP has blocked the ports that MSN uses.
Is there any other suggestion to my problem other than changing the ISP.

may be if u try to connect through a proxy server the problem will solve but not recommended and i have not tested this pace .

i think yet best option is try to change your ISP .

if it worked or it didn't just let me know .

try to use the repair function which is integrated in the program.

if not, get a all-in-one client.

Yes, if you say bitlord then it maybe that your ISP is blocking all P2P and torrent ports but there is no ISP out there which blocks MSN or Yahoo.
Try downloading Windows Live Messenger 8.0
Make sure that your connection settings are correct and/or ur installed firewall is not blocking msn.are you behind a router?

    Thanks for the Replies.
As far as the integrated Repair of MSN is concerned, it didnt Help at all.

Now comes the Firewall , ya i m sure my connection firewall is turned off n i m not using any other firewall.
Its also true that i m using a Router n i think that Router thingy is giving me tough time , i think something has to be done with Router Settings, but dont no how.

Also wht is that Proxy Servers n do u know any proxy Servers.
