S & BDS courses should write the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Under Graduate) [NEET (UG)] conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and obtain a valid rank in the Kerala State Rank list published by the CBSE for allotment / admission in the state. Such candidates should also apply online through the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, within the specified date mentioned in this notification. The Print out of the application along with necessary documents including the copy of the "Confirmation Page" of NEET (UG) should reach the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on or before the prescribed date. The candidates included in the Kerala State Rank list of NEET (UG) should satisfy their nativity condition as prescribed in Clause 6 of the KEAM 2013 Prospectus. Those who are not included in the Kerala State Rank list of NEET (UG) 2013 will not be considered for allotment / admission to MBBS & BDS courses.

Allotment/Admission to Architecture Course:

The CEE will not conduct any Entrance Examination for admission to B.Arch. course. However, candidates seeking admission to B.Arch. course should compulsorily appear and qualify the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA). Such candidates should also apply online through the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, within the specified date mentioned in this notification.


Schedule for the Entrance Examinations :

The Entrance Examinations will be held at all the District Centres in Kerala, New Delhi and Dubai (UAE), on the dates mentioned below as per Indian Standard Time (IST).
Engineering Entrance Examination (For Engineering courses except Architecture)
22.04.2013 Monday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-I : Physics & Chemistry.
23.04.2013 Tuesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II: Mathematics.
Medical Entrance Examination (For BAMS / BHMS / BSMS / Agriculture / Veterinary / Fisheries Courses). 24.04.2013 Wednesday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-I : Chemistry & Physics.
25.04.2013 Thursday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm Paper-II: Biology.


Online submission of application is required to apply for the Entrance Examinations/Allotments for admission to all the courses (Medical, Engineering and Architecture) Candidates should send only one application for all courses under KEAM 2013 and for MBBS & BDS (NEET - UG). If a candidate submits more than one application his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.
All candidates are required to apply online through the website for the Entrance Examinations/Allotments for admission to Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Engineering and Architecture Courses.

(c) Application Fee : General candidates - Rs.700/- SC/ST candidates - Rs.350/-
Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two following methods:

Security Card: Security Card, Prospectus and an envelope can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs.700/- or Rs.350/- as the case may be), by cash. List of Post Offices that issue Security cards and Prospectus is appended to this notification. Security card will not be available at the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

The Security card consists of a KEY NUMBER, which is inside the Security panel and not visible before scratching the silver panel. There is a Serial Number on each Security card. The Key number and Serial Number are unique and are required for filling up of payment details while registering online application.

Demand Draft: Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalized/Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates whose annual family income is below Rs.40,000/- can have Security Card, Prospectus and Envelope at free of cost from the District Offices of the Scheduled Tribes Development Department on production of Community Certificate and Income Certificate.
Security Card Distribution Centres: The Security Card, Prospectus and Envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will be distributed from 14.01.2013 to 08.02.2013 through selected branches of Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State. The amount towards the fee of application is to be remitted in cash at the Post Offices.
Candidates opting DUBAI (UAE) as the Centre: Candidates who choose ‘DUBAI’ as their centre for Entrance Examinations, should remit an amount of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only), as Centre fee along with the print out of their application, by way of Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram. Such candidates should enclose Demand Drafts for Rs.700/- as Application fee and Rs.10,000/- as centre fee along with the application. The candidates opting Dubai centre should note that the examinations are conducted as per Indian Standard Time (IST).

Last date and time for receipt of the Print out of the Application : The Print out of the Application and other relevant documents to be submitted with the Application are to be sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 09.02.2013 (Saturday), by Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post. Applications will be received in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.


Admit Card: The Admit Cards of Entrance Examinations can be downloaded from the website ww.cee.kerala.gov.in from 25thMarch 2013. The printout of the admit card thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of examination. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from this office to the candidate.
