The S.N. Bose National Centre has invited applications for the Summer Research Programme to be conducted during May to July 2013 for students in first / second year of MSc in Physical, Chemical (including Biophysics and Chemical Biology) and Mathematical Sciences.

The project will be for a period of eight weeks (with no break) under the supervision of a Faculty Member of SNBNCBS in an area of mutual interest. At the end of the project, the students are required to give a presentation of their work and also submit a project report. The Centre will provide each student an honorarium of Rs 2,000 per week to cover the hostel and other expenses. They will be allowed to use the canteen facilities in the Centre.

A Letter of Recommendation by the Head of the Department or by a senior member of the Faculty, who has taught the student, should accompany the application. The last date of receiving application is 1st March 2013.
