Kerala film Chamber has lifted the ban imposed on Rima Kallingal, following her reply for the allegations raised against her. The chamber has earlier inflicted one ban as the actress went on with her anchoring of reality show 'Midukki' on a popular channel , without answering the show cause notice issued to her. As per Film Chamber's guidelines, popular stars are not allowed to anchor TV programmes or to appear in a regular manner on television programmes, which are said to lessen the collections from theatres.

It was earlier reported that some films were affected by the ban on Rima. The talented actress who recently won a state award was to join the movie 'Zakhariyayude Garbhinikal' which has her in a challenging role of a pregnant wife of an older man. Now that the ban if lifted, let's expect Rima to take special interest to come up with more demanding and fruitful characters like that of '22 FK'.
Meanwhile , Rima's latest movie 'August Club' will start playing in theaters from today. The movie will have her as a mother of two children.
