Yester year actress Menaka had been the heroine to Mohanlal in around two dozen films that come out in the early eighties. And thereafter she settled to a peaceful family life marrying the famous producer Suresh kumar, who is also a great friend of the superstar.

Now after two decades from the mentioned stories , it is reported that Keerthy, the daughter of Menaka will share the screens with Mohanlal for a new film 'Geethanjali, the sequel to Manichithrathaazhu'. This is the new priyadharshan film where Keerthy will come up as one among the two heroines in the film named , Geetha and Anjali. The younger daughter of G Sureshkumar-Menaka duo will be in the filmy name Gayathri, in her cinema career. Keethy has already completed her designing course at Chennai and London before joining cinema..The shoot for the movie will kick start tomorrow at the capital city.
