Sachin Tendulkar could play his 200th Test at Newlands, in Cape Town, from January 2 to 6, 2014. Tendulkar, who has so far played 198 Tests, could be the first cricketer to play 200 Tests on the ground where he last scored a Test hundred in 2011.

However, India will first play two T20s and seven ODIs before the Test series against the top-ranked Test team.

Ojha eyes quick return

From being a match-winner to being dropped, Pragyan Ojha has seen it all in a very short span of time. But the 26-year spinner is confident of bouncing back and making the cut for India's South Africa tour.

Despite a good outing last season, the selectors have ignored him for the Zimbabwe tour and the India A tour to South Africa. "With the domestic season about to begin, my target is to rediscover the old rhythm and be ready for the big league," the left-arm spinner told TOI.
