    1.Coffee: Moderate amount of caffeine is good for a pre workout session. The intake of coffee helps to enhance your energy and reduce post exercise muscle soreness which is very common in men. Make sure you add skim milk as it provides ample amount of calcium for stronger bones and Vitamin D for carbohydrates.

    2.Ginger:
    Ginger is a must root food you should eat before you exercise. Ginger added to tea can help prevent muscle pain.

    3.Apples:
    Apples contains n number of vitamins which provide you with the best natural energy for a workout. Apples contain quercetin (a nutrient) which helps in increasing your metabolism. Therefore, one of the best foods to eat before you exercise is freshly cut apples.

    4.Cherry Juice:
    The red cherry juice contains polyphenols which helps to reduce inflammation in muscles. You can also consume a bowl of cherries before you hit the gym. This will help you work better and provide you with good results.

    5.Beetroots:
    Beetroot is very essential for women who are anemic. Beetroot is a beneficial food to eat before you exercise because it provides you with a good amount of oxygen in your body.

    6.Whole Grain Cereal:
    The consumption of whole grain cereal is good for you before your workout, the reason being that whole grain slower the release of glucose in the blood. This in turn translates to higher forms of energy.

    7.Honey:
    A spoonful of honey added to warm milk will give you a kick start to a good workout. Honey contains fructose and glucose which is for added energy levels.

    8.Legumes:
    This is one of the basic foods to eat before you exercise. Beans and lentils contain high amounts of protein and complex carbs which is a good source for energy. However, consume only small amount of legumes as they cause gas in the stomach.

    All this food with a glass of luke warm water with lemon and honey is good after a morning walk or exercise.

    These things are much beneficial for those who has a sugar disease...So drink regularly which is very beneficial for our health..

    You are rite one must eat before excercising, and Brinjal helps in LOOSSINg WEIGHT!!!

    I think it totally depends on your goal for what you are doing working out..According to Tacoma Personal Trainer For general fitness i think you should take some eggs and fresh juice
