As per the tentative counselling schedule announced for MBBS/BDS admission for 2013-14 session by the Directorate of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu, the allotment/re allotment process to government and self-financing MBBS/BDS colleges will begin on August 5, 2013. Candidates can go through the counselling schedule for their turn with regard to the Date/Mark/Rank/Category/Communities notified on the DME, Chennai website. Candidates who do not receive call letter can also attend the counselling as per their turn specified in the schedule by downloading the call letter from the official websites.
As more number of candidates are called to attend the counselling for all categories allotment is not guaranteed to everyone. Re-allotment will be done only for the candidates who joined the course within the stipulated time & date.
No individual intimation will be sent to candidates for re-allotment of seats for Govt. Medical Colleges. Candidate seeking the Re-allotment should submit Admission slip (or) Bonafide Certificate obtained from the Head of the Institution. Candidates selected under Special Category (Ex-Servicemen, Eminent Sports persons, Orthopaedically Physically Disabled) in 1st Phase of counselling are not eligible for Re allotment.
All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of ‘’Secretary Selection Committee, Chennai - 10” payable at Chennai. “All Candidates attending counselling should produce a Demand Draft for Rs500/- towards processing Fee at Attendance Counter. Candidates without Demand Draft for Rs.500/- will not be allowed to participate in the counselling.
Candidates who do not receive call letter can download the same from 2.8.2013 onwards from the official websites by entering their AR number and Date of Birth. The official websites.
