In order to take stock of the quality of teaching, a team of subject specialists under the direct supervision of deputy commissioner and deputy director of school education (DDSE) would inspect all secondary and higher secondary schools of capital complex to verify quantitative and qualitative aspects of each subject in the classes. During its visit the team would interact with students and teachers and evaluate the progress and furnish the report so that appropriate measures can be taken immediately, DDSE T T Tara informed in a statement here on Thursday.
As per academic calendar, a teacher needs to teach according to syllabus of subject in effective manner. "As we are already in the fourth month of this year's academic activity, and summative assessment-I is scheduled to start, it is necessary to assess the progress of each subject in every class in the schools," the DDSE added.
