The spotlight will be on veterans Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and Zaheer Khan when India 'A' take on a confident West Indies 'A' in the third and the final 'Test' at the Rajnagar cricket stadium from Wednesday.

India will be aiming to salvage pride by winning this Test and squaring the series after the West Indies won the first Test in Mysore last month and drew the second.

For India's veteran trio, this is the last opportunity to redeem their image before the selectors name the squad for the home series against West Indies in November.

Neither Sehwag nor Gambhir has found his bearings thus far while Zaheer Khan, who trained under Tim Dexter in France and under South African provincial team Knights' fitness expert Adrian le Roux in an attempt to regain his place in the Indian squad, has been equally flat.

After a massive 162-run defeat in the first Test in Mysore and a drawn Test in Shimoga, India 'A' skipper Cheteshwar Pujara said the team's focus was on winning the third.

As for the West Indians, the young outfit has reaped rewards with as many as five cricketers from the present squad - Kirk Edwards, Chadwick Walton, Narsingh Deonarine, Kieran Powell and Veerasammy Permaul - being named in the senior team that is set to tour India in November for the two-Test series.

The third Test will be another opportunity for them to prove a point in Indian conditions. Having clinched the one-dayers 2-1, the visitors will be keen to finish their tour of India on a high.

"To win the first game and come out with a draw in the second has been really good for us," said West Indies 'A' player Kieran Powell.
