In an unprecedented move, the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (PEB) has cancelled the examination of a total of 345 students who had appeared for the Pre-Medical Test (PMT) this year. PEB officials said that the decision to cancel the examination of these students was taken after the Special Task Force (STF) found that 874 students had appeared for the PMT in a suspicious manner.
The STF found proof of copying for 345 out of these 874 students and hence their examinations have been cancelled. Of the students whose examinations have been cancelled 12 are from Bhopal and the maximum number of 67 hail from Indore. The decision to cancel the examinations of these students may benefit those who are now on the waiting list.
