Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will be conducting its Engineering Entrance Examination on 13th April 2014 on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech. Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru and Ettimadai (Coimbatore) for the year 2014-15.

Eligibility Criteria for 2014 Entrance Examination:
Age - Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1993.
Educational Qualification - A pass in 10+2 (class XII)or its equivalent securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% marks in each of these three subjects.

A three year Diploma in Engineering with minimum 60% marks, awarded by any State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent.
Note: Those who appear for the above examinations in March/April 2014 may also apply.
Seat allotment through Counselling will be based on the eligibility and rank obtained by the Candidate in the Amrita Entrance Examination - Engineering 2014.

In person from the University counter of Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru and Coimbatore on producing a Demand Draft for Rs 1000/- drawn in favour of Amrita School of Engineering payable at Coimbatore.

Semi - Online Application : Apply through University website (No Internet banking facility required).
Take a printout (Laser or inkjet only) of the completed application on a good quality A4 size paper; enclose a demand draft for Rs. 1000/- drawn in fovour of Amrita School of Engineering Payable at Coimbatore; paste a recent passport size colour photograph; affix signature of Candidate & Parent / Guardian and send in good quality envelope to the address below.
Candidate should write his / her Name and "B.Tech. Application" on the back of the Demand Draft. Please keep a photocopy of the filled-in application and Demand Draft for future reference.
