The big battle during this Christmas could have three high profile films. Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam with Mohanlal in the lead, Sathyan Anthikkad’ Oru Indian Pranayakatha with Fahadh Faasil and Amala Paul and Lal Jose’ Dileep starrer Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal are the three movies.

There could be more to the list, but as of now, the competition is limited to these three.

Drishyam is a family thriller where Mohanlal will be seen as a normal villager, Oru Indian Pranayakatha is a lighthearted tale of a young politician and Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal says the life of a person, during the seven days before his wedding.

Mammootty’s Silence, directed by V K Prakash, reaches the theatres on Dec 6. Prithviraj’ London Bridge, which was originally planned as a Christmas release has now been postponed to end January.

Now the big challenge for the Mollywood releases could be the much *awaited Bollywood film, Dhoom 3.

So get ready for the big game.
