Gundu Island of Kochi is accessible through boat only from the Vypeen Island which is situated nearby. The island does not have any accommodation facility; so you have to return back by the evening. Since, the Gundu Island at Kochi has coconut trees all around it, there is a coir factory on the island. And amazingly, it is the only building on the Gundu Island in Kochi.
