Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for Common Entrance Test (PIMS-AICET-UG 2014) to be conducted by the Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni for selection of students to MBBS {Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery} and BDS {Bachelor of Dental Surgery} courses run by the constituent colleges of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni. Entrance examination will be conducted on 26 April, 2014 from 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. in following cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Cochin, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai & Hyderabad.

ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must be Indian National.
The nationality certificate issued by the District Magistrate / Additional District Magistrate / Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid passport will be considered as a proof of Nationality.
Candidate must have passed qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) examination with the subject Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
Candidate belonging to general category must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC ( or equivalent) examination.
Candidate belonging to backward classes must have passed in the subjects of Physics,Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) examination.
Candidate should be either of 17 years of age on or attain this age as on 31st December of the Academic year in which admission is sought.
The candidates who are appearing for qualifying examination i.e. HSC (or equivalent) in February/March of the respective academic year are eligible to appear for entrance examination, however they must fulfill the eligibility condition at the time of counseling.
Candidate belonging to general category should obtain minimum 50% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.
Candidate belonging to backward classes should obtain minimum 40% marks in CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by this Deemed University. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.
Candidates studied (qualifying examination) under foreign system in India, are required to obtain equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi.) .


HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates can apply to University courses using any of the following options:


OPTION 1: Download the application form from website:and send it to PIMS by desired date.
Downloaded application to be submitted with a DD for Rs. 1700/- in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune.


OPTION 2: The prospectus can be purchased from University Admissions office or by writing to "Competent Authority, Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni-413736, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra" upon payment of Rs. 1500/- (for by post add Rs.200.00 towards postal charges). The DD should be drawn in the name of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni payable at Pune.
