Win XP Service Pack 2

The best way is:
format c:
install XP
SP1
SP2
and thats all!
after that install other programms.
And all will work without problems.

But if you are installing SP2 there is no need to install SP1.

Anyway I have 3 SP2 CDs from M$ already. Expecting 7 more......

service pack 2 has too many glitches!!!!! I don't like it... and you have to get patches from too many sites for my liking after installing it...

if you have a good firewall and a good antivirus (like norton of Mcaffee) then you don't need to install it at all

PS... why install it when you can get Microsoft to post it out to you on a CD for FREE!!!!!????? just o to the microsoft website and look at the SP2 Page!!!

I'm Reinstall XP and installed SP2 and I have no problems with my OS.

i'm hearin too many iffy things about this, i havent upgraded to it yet on my computer, and by the looks of the replies dont think i will be upgradin anytime soon...........

my theory... don't install service pack 2!!! I don't like it!!! secondly... service packs upgrade your computer and install patches and bug fixes. essentially making it better... but they have bugs too
