    Habeas Corpus : A legal writ issued by a court directing the production before it of the body of a detained person, usually to inquire into the legality of the detention.

    Intrauterine device : A piece of metal or plastic, often in the shape of a loop, ring or spiral, inserted into the uterus as a contraceptive.

    I.Q. (Intelligence Quotient) : A method to measure a person's intelligence. This is done by calculating the person's mental age through a series of question based tests and then relating it to his physical age with 100 as the mean.
