i had two major issues with vista: windows media player 11 being installed and not being able to view thumbnails of images.

i hate windows media player 11 and never update from 10 to it in xp because i prefer 10. i can't stand 11's gui and it forced me to switch to a better media manager: winamp

and i couldn't figure out how to view thumbnails of images in file browser. it was like microsoft wanted to force you to use their image browser- no thanks!

those two issues compounded the greater software incompatibility problem that everyone faced. eventually i removed vista and reverted to xp.

i feel like those people who hated when windows se and me came out.

Right now,XP is better, one of the major problems in vista is that there are only few drivers of hardware that support vista.
