Ive just updated my web site, if you guys would take a look and let me know what you think I would appreciate it.

Ive made it a lot more simple, I've taken out a lot of content that I thought was not so good, and Ive added a menu bar to make it easier to navigate.

Theres no links yet and I havent sorted out the tags and headers but thats pretty easy stuff to fix, I will get round to it over the next couple of days.

How long does it take you to create such detailed objects?

you should post up some of your models.

Maya is a bit of a beast to find your way around, I managed to get a working knowledge of poly modeling rigging and animation, but its taken me around 6 years, best to start with one area and build from there, so sticking with modeling for a while is probably a good approach
