    hey ppl can sum1 guide me on using torrents.
    i dont know how to use it for downloading.........
    please give me A-Z details regarding this A.S.A.P......

    i am facing prolem in opening the port .............. i m using cable net ....... do i have to ask my provider to open the port ....

    What bittorrent client do you use? I reccomend you to use utorrent.

    No, but if you use a router you have to forward at least one port to the computer you will be using to download torrents. Some providers do slow down or attempt to block file sharing traffic. I always recommend enabling the encrypted protocol option. Personally, in windows I would recommend utorrent, and in Linux, either run utorrent with wine, or use ktorrent. Azureus will give you a headache if you're new to torrents.

    thxn guys for all the help ...... it was my internet provider who was blocking the port .....
