Default Avatar doesnt increase in size

When I tried to increase the Avatar size limit. It keeps going back to 6kb, which is so tiny. Someone please tell me how I can increase it.
    thanks,

I'm having the same problem here.

Is it not allowed for us to change the size of the avatar?

I'm experiencing this problem, as well. Any way to fix it?

Yes i cant do that either, i think Bizhat have set it at 6k unfortunatly...... bigger would be better, its a shame we cant up the size ourselves as admins.

Instead of uploading a avitar, use the option of directing a url as the avitar - it works a treat - if you need more explanation then ill revisit the thread in a day or two :)

    Ok mate,

Under profile, scroll down and you should see a part in the profile that you can link up to.

So for example in profile you get 4 choices.

    Upload Avatar from your machine:

    Upload Avatar from a URL:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image, it will be copied to this site.

    Link to off-site Avatar:
Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image you wish to link to.

    Select Avatar from gallery:

The bold part is what you need to look at, so simply upload a avitar to a host (photobucket) and hot link over to your forum. :D
