    Default Spam Blacklist

Is there any way to remove IP's from the Blacklist after they've been accused of spamming?

ONe of my members had this happen yesterday, she returned today only for it to happen again?? She's not been spamming so we're a bit clueless as to why this is happening?

    Thanks in advance :)

I have the same question. A member of our forum has been blacklisted for using the word s*xy which is a soap name from a major company. I can't see how that word is considered spam. How do I get this person off the black list.

This is the message she received:

YOUR IP (XXXXXXXXXX) IS BLACKLISTED AS THE MESSAGE YOU POSTED INCLUDE SPAM WORDS.

BLACKLIST WILL BE REMOVED AFTER 24 HOURS.

*blocked out IP address for privacy reasons

The same thing happened to a user on my forum. Same message that debi9topaz posted.

    Please help.

Go to your admin panel==>click on "Ban Control"==>you will see a heading "Un-ban one or more IP addresses." Select the ip address - highlite it and click on submit at the bottom of the page.

This is the normal way to unban someone. If BizHat has a built in spam ban tool you may not be able to do it. I can't open my board for new members because I get dozens of spam profiles posted with pornography, drugs and gambling, and as a result my forum has died.

Bizhat seems too busy with their new-found advertising ventures to deal with problems in their free forums section. I asked one of their moderators a question and got that as an answer: "Forum is a free service by Bizhat. Our team is busy with some more important projects, so it will take some time for providing solution to moving your posts from our forum"
