A five-wicket win chasing 160 might seem a comfortable victory but India made hard work of their success at the MCG, grinding out their first triumph of the CB Series with less than five overs to spare. Their youngest star Ishant Sharma set up the small target and their oldest warrior Sachin Tendulkar put their batting on track, but it was left to Rohit Sharma and their captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni to complete the task.

whatever may be the result of this series but Indian selectors did a big mistake by keeping Saurav and Rahul out of the team. If somehow they manage to win series it'll be mostly bcoz of ishant,gautam,sachin and rohit.

yes its true. becouse sourav is such a good form and good average in last 5 months.rahul all so.He is a good cricketer in the world."Dada"and "Rahul" must play in the coming ODIs.

thats why i was shocked when the team selection was made. when a player is fit and is in good nick you keep him out just bcoz he cant field well. his fielding is not worse. its average. and he bowls too. Just bcoz a young captain wanted a young team they should listen. experience counts in any field. just the presence of both these players make team sweat.

lets see how well the so called best fielders perform in field and make us win.
