Because you can't install asp on a linux. Microsoft's softwares usually only work on microsoft itself. Supporting asp would mean having to get a new server with microsoft server 2003 installed on it, a new control panel for ms server, etc. Although MS SQL databases are really really good. As a conclusion, IT WOULD COST MORE MONEY!
