Beep beep help

please is there anyone out here in bizhat land that can help some of us correct the beeping going on in the forums we have?

i know we are not the only ones that are experiencing this.

if someone else has had this problem and you are reading this, can you direct us in he right direction?

The beep is coming from the banner on the bottom of the screen that flashes you have a message. I wish bizhat would not allow banners with sound.

Here's a message that one of my forums site members posted:

Can't you get rid of that very annoying advert at the top saying "I have one message" when I know I haven't.

Not the advert so much, but that bleeping noise stops me looking through the forum!!!

NO one likes these irritating beeps and they come as a result of the annoying banner ad that claims that "You Have 1 New Message" to try to get unsuspecting members to click on it. Why can't the "powers that be" within BizHat simply ban at least this one particular ad? As long as the ads make absolute no noise and are located at the bottom of our forums sites I, personally, have no problem with the ads in return for a great free forums site. But that constant beeping noise is totally irritating and something should DEFINITELY be done about getting RID of it ASAP!!
