Jothika paid Rs 50 lakhs
Chandramukhi’s producers are in a tizz. From day one they seem to be having a problem with the heroine. Simran walked out because her hubby Deepak Bagga objected to some scenes. Later with great difficulty they got Jothika to do the role.
In between Rajnikant’s daughter wedding and Diwali upset the schedules. With Jothika being tied to Mayavi the producers felt that more dates were needed. Jothika’s manager spread his fingers and showed the symbol of the Cong(I). The perplexed producer could not understand. It meant Rs 50 lakhs.
Clutching his chest the producer looked at Vasu who was stroking his beard. Yes said the producer and walked out. What a price to pay?.
Meanwhile Rajnikant who told everybody that he was away in Hyderabad for his birthday under pressure from his fans had a quick cake cutting ceremony in Chennai on the eve of the birthday and flew away to Mysore.
