    How do people create Graphics? Do they use a special program? MS Paint?

    i use PhotoStudio and paint at times, i don't have much of a choice so that's it. it came w/ my laptop

    I use fireworks, but i heard paintshop is the best.

    Photoshop and fireworks combination works well for me. Fireworks for buttons etc and photoshop for everything else

    Indeed, I have the trial and I love it. I may be crazy enough to buy it.

    But yes I use MSPaint to sprite, if you know what that is. Also I do my own logos and avatars and that kind of stuff.

    I'm one of the few users who use expensive programs I think:P
    For designing properties, most designers use the full photoshop and another blessed program is Bryce... making 3d banners and stuff is just alot nicer then preprogrammed logo's etc.

    Fireworks usually needs a particle-program...when you buy Photshop Full, you can download a particle system plug-in...but if you don't have the money to but the full program you can also seek in Google for "Particles fireworks creator".....this will certainly show up lists....if not....please PM me, I'll then search a nice program for you (But I'm not some sort of researcher:P I won't always search...but for this once ey;)

    Fireworks has never failed me. You can download it off of http://www.macromedia.com , but after 30 days you have to buy it.
