Default Are you using firefox? Need it to be speedier?

I found this, seems to actually work.

    1) Type "about:config" into the address bar and press enter. Look for these entries:
    network.http.pipelining
    network.http.proxy.pipelining
    network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

    2) change them like this:
    Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
    Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
    Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to 30

    3) Finally, right-click anywhere and select New integer. NAme it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set it to 0.

Yeah, that works quite well and doesn't appear to have any side-effects
