    Default Useful Tips 4U

    The 7 Ups !!!!

    1. Wake Up !!

Decide to have a good day.

"Today is the day the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."

    2. Dress Up !!

The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.

"The Lord does not look at the things man looks at."

"Man looks at outward appearance; but the Lord looks at the heart."

    3. Shut Up !!

Say nice things and learn to listen.

God gave us two ears and one mouth, so He must have meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking.

"He who guards his lips guards his soul."

    4. Stand Up !!

    For what you believe in.

Stand for something or you will fall for anything.

"Let us not be weary in doing good; for at the proper time, we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good."

    5. Look Up !!

    To the Lord.

"I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me."

    6. Reach Up !!

    For something higher.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding."

"In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."

    7. Lift Up !!

    Your Prayers.

Do not worry about anything; instead,

    "PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."

    Tips For Practicing Yoga

The most appropriate time for practicing Yoga is in the morning, before breakfast. This is because it is the time, when our mind is calm, composed and fresh and the body movements can be performed, with considerable ease and vigor.

To get started, you need to have the urge and confidence in yourself.

To practice Yoga, the place chose must be calm, quiet, ventilated, dust free, moisture free and also distraction free.

Before you start practicing Yoga, it is very important for you to clear your bowels and bladder as well as clean your nostrils and throat of all mucus. You must also drink a glass of lukewarm water.

Yoga clothing should be loose and as comfortable as possible. Form-fitting cotton/Lycra pants and shirts are the best.
Wait for a few minutes and then you can start.

Like all other work outs, you must begin with easy poses, thereafter you can advance to the tough ones. Be methodical and systematic.

Remember, to start with your movements should be light and if you feel fatigue in between you must discontinue.
Yoga must energize and not cause weariness and depression.

You must take breaks in between, if a particular step or exercise proves tiring.

For a person performing Yoga, the diet should be a balanced and you should eat after an interval of 4 hours.

The quantity of food should be such that it satisfies your appetite. Generally, the ratio composition of meals should be - grains and cereals (30% of the calorific value), dairy products (20%), vegetables and roots (25%), fruits and honey (20%) and nuts (5%).

Over eating and fasting should be avoided. At the same time, you must try to avoid stale food.
While performing Yoga, your breathing should be long and deep. You must remember to keep your mouth close and inhale and exhale, only through the nose.

You should always keep a Yoga mat, made of some comfortable materials. For lying postures use a woolen carpet and spread a clean sheet over it.

Remember, while doing yoga, you should not get a feeling of pain or discomfort. If you do, you are not doing it in the right manner or you need to adjust your pose to suit you better.

If you are a beginner, do not just impinge on doing the tough tasks. Remember, you need to always begin with the easy postures and then, proceed to the difficult ones. You should follow the graded steps of Yoga.

    Default Homemade hair care remedy

Can you deny that dandruff makes your life miserable? In spite of applying various anti-dandruff cosmetic products, you sometimes suffer from mild to severe dandruff condition. Get simple solution with the help of apple cider vinegar. Take at least ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar. Mix this in fresh and normal water. Now preserve the mixture in a spray bottle. Two days in a week, spray the formula on your hair. For at least 15 to 20 minutes, leave the mixture on the hair. It will help you to remove dandruff from the root of the hair.

Who doesn’t want to enjoy silky smooth hair? Hair conditioner pampers the hair with shine and softness. Make a natural recipe for turning your hair into luscious. You have to take 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of aloe vera, 1 tablespoon of sea salt and 1 avocado. First mash the avocado properly. Mix all other ingredients in it. Prepare a wonderful paste. After shampooing the hair, on wet hair use this paste. It will really bring out the smooth effect on the hair.

    Default Happy Living

Stress free living is a gift readily available for all. With daily practice, we will be able to live freer, joyful, and healthier lives.

Meditation naturally heals the mind, body and spirit. Meditation, relaxes the mind and body. Meditation liberates the spirit.
The mind, once relaxed begins to rid itself, of all ill forming habits. Once achieved, the body begins to heal itself, from all diseases. The spirit, rejoices for it is free.

    Balance Benchmark Ideas

    • Dedicating time to practicing a hobby, whether it's a weekly knitting circle, 10 minutes in the garden every day, or an art class each season. Whatever you choose, devote yourself to doing it consistently.
    • Spending time alone each day.
    • Spending time outside each day.
    • Keeping a regularly scheduled date with a favorite family member or friend–whether it's a phone call, lunch, or other date. (Email doesn’t count.)
    • Taking walks just for fun, with your pet, a family member, or on your own.
    • Gathering the troops for a family dinner.
    • Eating home-cooked meals.
    • Journaling.
    • Spending daily quality time with your pet.

And remember, you only need one! No sense stressing yourself out with a list of things you feel you MUST do every day or else. Life is hectic enough. Whatever you choose, let it work for you instead of against you.

Default 3 Mini Meditations to Help You Through Your Day (or Night)

    1. Mini Breath Meditation

Sit comfortably with your back straight. Take a deep breath and let it go. Begin to silently count at the end of each out breath: Inhale . . . exhale . . . count one, inhale . . . exhale . . . two, inhale . . . exhale . . . three. Then start at one again. Just three breaths and back to one. Simply following each breath in and silently counting. So simple. Do this as many times as you want, eyes open or closed, breathing normally.

    2. Mini Walking Meditation

You can do this walking along a country lane, a city street, in the office or the garden. You can walk slowly, normal or fast, whatever feels right. As you walk become aware of your walking, of the movement of your body and the rise and fall of your feet. Become aware of your breath and see if you can bring both your breathing and your walking together. Just walk and breathe with awareness for a few minutes.

    3. Instant Letting Go

Find a quiet place to sit, have a straight back, and take a deep breath and let it go. Then quietly repeat to yourself: “My body is at ease and relaxed . . . my heartbeat is normal . . . my mind is calm and peaceful . . . my heart is open and loving.” Keep repeating this until you have let go of the tension and are at peace. Then take a deep breath and have a smile on your face!
