    Default Best firewall

    Hello
What firewall do you think is the best? Why have you choose the one you installed on your computer?

I use norton internet security. Seems to do the job well and not had any problems in the whole time i've been using it, which is about 9 months now.

    Hello

For me the perfect internet protection combination is ... :
->Norton Antivirus with the latest update
->Outpost Firewall .. it is very customizable

McAfee firewall and antivirus work very good. Auto-updates and automatically tells you when you have a virus and gets rid of it.

For me ZoneAlarm does the trick. It is pretty user friendly and has a free version available. Windows XP has it's own firewall, and, with SP2, it has become more user friendly. Gives feedback and asks for confirmation. I have compiled a list of firewalls, free and paid. You can find them here:

    Cheers!

I use a combination of Norton's Firewall, Windows firewall, and an external hardware firewall located in my router :)
