    Does anybody knows about a freeware (or not) flash (.swf) player for Win XP with muting option?

    Just download Flash Player from Macromedia's website. Then use Internet Explorer to play the file. If you want to mute it, turn off your speakers. Otherwise, I dont know if there is a program that does what you want.

    Linux does not fit for me . I've downloaded at least 20 players , freeware and shareware and shitware... No one does the job : \
