    why u cant upload this File on my site...
    i need this for forumm...

    Don't worry about it man! When I created my first site back in the day, I was freakin' baffled. However, you don't need the file - honest.

    Just remove it from whatever directory it is in and re-upload the rest of the files using your FTP program. Trust me.

    based on what i have understand with the pins, you don't need it and are not allowed to use such file due to security reasons.

    wahh, really? i thought .htaccess was a good thing that helps your site? ive always uploaded them on my older sites? Ahh well

    What security risks does it have?

    I think it only makes your site safer.. I don't think that your site will be safer without .htaccess...

    i got a some problem when i upload my phpbb2 file. does it really no problem for setup forum. how about the config.php file, should i make it to 666?
