NEW DELHI: Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan has congratulated Pankaj Advani for winning the first gold for India in the English billiards singles event of the Asian Games in Guangzhou.

"Congratulations Pankaj Advani for winning India's first gold medal in the Asiad games. You make us proud," Abhishek posted on his Twitter page.

The Bangalorean beat Myanmar's OO Nay Thway Oo in the final Sunday.
