Veeraiah Reddiar started a new saree shop in 1910 at Alappuzha with his sister’s blessings, he chose to name the establishment after her – Seematti. Almost a century later, Seematti has now become a household name in Kerala, synonymous with good quality silks, readymades and dress materials for one and all and now even furnishings to match every taste and decor.


From humble beginnings of a single establishment, Seematti is now a chain of superb shopping experiences at Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Thiruvalla and Changanachery, thanks to loyal customers and dedicated and amiable sales personnel who make shopping at Seematti pleasurable.
