HYDERABAD: South Indian film actress and television presenter ‘Colours’ Swathi is very happy these days. Her work as an actress is being praised by critics and the audience. She is also being referred to as the youth icon in South India.

In a statement to the media, Swathi Reddy says that she feels grateful to the audience of Tollywood and Kollywood for showering so much love upon her and enjoying her films.

Swathi Reddy has come this far without a godfather and the actress says that she feels relieved that she has nobody except the audience to satisfy and that there are less expectations from her as an actress because she has never received professional training.

She first shot to prominence with her television talk show ‘Colours’ on Maa TV. It was from here that ‘Colours’ Swathi, as she famously came to be recognized as, stepped into Tollywood with films like ‘Ashta Chamma’ and ‘Subramaniyapuram’.

The actress is currently working in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju’.
