Shanghai Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
Chicken - 1 cup
Garlic - 1 tsp
Onion - ½ cup
Green Chillies - 2 - 3 nos
Spring Onion - ½ cup
Cashewnut - 1 tbsp
Corn flour - 1 tsp
Egg - 1 no
Sugar - As reqd
Salt - As reqd
Vinegar - A few drops
Tomato Sauce - 3 tsp
Soya Sauce
Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method of Shanghai Chicken
1)Mix the chicken with little salt, egg, and corn flour.
2)Deep-fry it in oil one by one.
3)When it turns golden brown in colour, drain and remove.
4)Heat oil in a pan and add chopped garlic, chopped onions, green chilly and cashew nuts and saut well till the onions turn brown.
5)Add salt, sugar and vinegar.
6)Add soya sauce, tomato sauce with a teaspoon of water.
7)When the sauce is cooked, add the fried chicken and spring onions.
:- Serve hot with any Fried rice.
