Sathya, the baby-faced younger brother of actor Aarya, is debuting as hero with the maiden production of Mirchi Movies’ ‘Kaadhal To Kalyanam’. Fortunately, Sathya has the established and popular actress in Divya Spandana as his heroine, which could help the film’s prospects at the box-office.
Yuvan Shankar Raja, the flair of the season in Kollywood with successive musical hits in his past few movies, has composed the music of ‘Kaadhal…’ for the film which also marks the debut directorial venture of Milind, a former assistant of ace director Maniratnam. As such, the film has several ‘firsts’ to its credit.

Milind says Yuvan’s numbers would become very popular once the songs are out. Sathya says that for a particular song ‘Thedi Varuvaen…’, he had to wander around the nook and corner of the streets of Pondicherry so much so that he now knew each and every landmark in that city!

The fact that Divya’a latest Tamil film ‘Singampuli’ opposite Jiiva has been doing fairly well must help the box-office prospects of ‘Kaadhal…’ to some extent!
