    800 x 600 in my 15"monitor.

    1024*768 pixels in my 17" monitor with 85 Hz.
    It's a proper resolution for eyes.

    1280x1024 on my 17inch 12ms LCD. After 5 years of 3d modelling at 800x600 it's a relief I can tell you.

    & anyone with a CRT make sure you have your refresh rate as high as possible to help reduce eye strain.

    I saw someone has visited my website with a resolution of 2304x864.
    Can someone tell me what kind of display it is?

    Probably 2 screens at 1152x864 each.

    Surely not. It would have to be extremely wide. The only examples I've seen that could be called 2304x864 are dual 1152x864 set ups. Even those are pretty unusual.
