Mountain is the favorite tourism destination for adventure lovers as various adventure gaming are possible in the mountain ranges .Nepal, the home of lofty mountains is mostly visited for adventure gaming. Trekking is most popular activity that people love to enjoy in Nepal Trek.

    Nepal is a land of yaks and yetis, stupas and Sherpas and some of the best trekking on earth. Nepali people are friendly and adventure loving. Cow is the National Animal.

    Kathmandu : Kathmandu's World heritage sites include Bodhnath stupa, Swayambunath stupa ( or ‘Monkey Temple’ is a UNESCO World heritage site) and Pashupatinath, the Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. Durbar Square and visit home to the Kumari Devi - considered a living goddess.

    Patan : It is too close to Kathmandu, Durbar Square : temples, monasteries, more than 600 stupas and 185 bahals )

    Bhaktapur : It is a world-class artistic and architectural heritage town in Nepal (40 min by bus from Kathmandu, Golden Gate and 55 window palace, 30 m high Nyatapola temple, potters square).

    Chitwan National Park is worth visiting to watch wildlife (185 km from Kathmandu/6 hour by car). World Heritage site by UNESCO located near Bharatpur. Wildlife : Royal Bengal tiger, Gangetic dolphin, One-horned rhinos, Golden Monitor lizard, Wild Asian elephant, Gaur, elephant and Gharial crocodile.

    Pokhara : It has numerous museums and there are some fascinating caves, waterfalls and Tibetan villages in the surrounding hills. 20 min by flight/ 6 to 8 hour travel by bus from Kathmandu. Phewa Tal, Mt Machhapuchhare - the perfect triangular mountain, Annapurna sanctuary trek, Jomsom trek and a dozen of other trreks.

    Lumbini (UNESCO World heritage site, birth place of Lord Buddha, Maya Devi Temple) are tourist hot spots. Lumbini is accessible from Kathmandu via Bharatpur and Bhatwal or from Gorakhpur (UP, India).

    Bisket Jatra (Nepali New Year) is a main festival.

    Everest Base Camp is popular among trekkers and has a well defined route. Only in Nepal can you trek for weeks without the need even for a tent. Visit monasteries of Namche and Tengboche. video

    From Kathmandu to Tyangboche (3867 m)/ Lukla (2834 m) by flight (40 min to Lukla). Lukla to Namche Bazar (3440 m, 20 km, 4 hour, main village), to Tyangboche (5 hour, monastry), to Periche (4243 m, 5 hour, 10 km, accommodation), to Lobuje (4930 m, 3 hour, 10 km, stone huts), to Gorakshep (5150 m, 4 hour, 10 km, single hut), (a) to Kalapathar (5623 m, 3 hour). (b) Everest base camp (5356 m, 3 hour) : 8 days trek. Views of Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse and Everest.

    Everest BC has well beaten trail, so one can trek with out even a guide. Season : March to May. Tyangboche has regular flights from Kathmandu from Oct to May. Himalaya has violent blizzards, high winds and intense cold. Weather is of cloudiness, rain, snow, occasional hailstorm or snow blizzards, avalanche etc.
