Asin’s future in Bollywood looks rosy

All those who have written off Asin’s Bollywood career as non – existent can think again. Her film with Salman Khan, Ready may have been panned by the critics but is smashing box office records and is barreling towards a big finish. It is already inching towards the 100 crore line, two weeks into its release. If it continues raking in the moolah this way and there is no reason it shouldn’t, given that the film is attracting repeat audiences, it might just set a record of its own. Currently, however, in terms of box-office collections, Golmaal 3, Aamir Khan’s Ghajini and 3 Idiots, and Salman’s own Dabaang are ahead and it will be intersting to see if Ready will edge them out.
No matter what happens, Asin’s future in Bollywood is looking rosy. Ghajini gave her a big launch and Ready has consolidated her position. Her decision to be extremely choosy has paid off big time.
