Default Salman loves ‘Ek Tha Tiger

Riding high on the wave of back to back blockbusters ‘Ready’ and ‘Dabangg’, Salman Khan is now raring to kick-start ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, his first with Yash Raj Films. While it is obvious that he was blown away by the written material of this romantic thriller where he has Katrina Kaif paired opposite him, Salman is all the more excited about this Kabir Khan directed film because of it’s never-heard-before title.

“When Nilesh (Mishra) and I were narrating the script to Salman, he didn’t react much to the title. He was keener to know what the film was all about and how it would unfold. However once we were through and he admitted being interested in the film, he also told us how much he loved the title ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. He couldn’t stop smiling,” says Kabir who has earlier made ‘New York’ and ‘Kabul Express’.

One can well understand Salman’s reaction at a title like this. After in last so many years, one has never heard or seen such widespread reactions to a film’s title as has been the case with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Not just it sounds like a ‘masala’ affair in the making, it also adds on to the intrigue value.

Well, one waits to see how the magic indeed unfolds as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ embarks on an international schedule to make good process towards it’s 1st June 2012 release deadline.
