Kareena Kapoor to launch makeup line

Kareena Kapoor must be on cloud nine this season, what with work having begun on her Madame Tussauds look and now, she’s the new face of Lakme Absolute! In the recently held Lakme International Fashion Week, Kareena was announced as the new face of the brand.

Speaking on the occasion, Kareena expressed, I am honoured to be the face of Lakme. As a kid I remember wanting to use my grandmother’s Lakme red lipstick each time she stepped out for her club outings. I am proud that I am Lakme’s face today”. Not just that, unlike most actresses, Kareena admitted that she loves to don makeup.

This new face of Lakme Absolute announced that there are plans for her to launch her own makeup line in the near future! Says the excited actress, “I am extremely busy so designing clothes won’t happen soon, although I am planning to launch my own makeup line”.
