There are a total of 184 BTech seats vacant in different branches at Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) and these seats will be considered for admission at the counselling scheduled for August 24th at Kunjali Marakkar Campus of the varsity at Thrikkakara, Kochi. Students who had registered options in the earlier phases of counselling will get preference in this spot counselling over those who haven't registered options so far. Students will have to remit fees at the spot itself and secure admission when they are allotted a particular branch in the allotment. A total of 52 seats are now up for grabs at the Pulinkunnu campus of Cusat. There are a total of 180 seats in different branches at Pulinkunnu, but only 90 seats have been given recognition by the AICTE. The varsity is now trying to secure approval for the rest.
Altogether students up to the rank of 8000 have been called for the counselling on August 24 and the allotment will be done on first come first served basis, according to varsity sources.
