    Add few drops of rose water and milk to sandal paste. Apply it on face and neck. Wash when it starts drying. This helps to clear the skin of scars.
    A mixture of aloe, cucumber and tomato juice can be used to reduce suntan.
    Mix equal quantities of lime juice, rose water and glycerin. Apply it on skin for 15 to 20 minutes. This will help to remove black heads, clear the skin of stains and provide a radiant look.
    Mix turmeric with few drops of tulsi juice. This reduces pimples.
    Apply a paste of red sandal wood and honey. This clears the skin of scars and helps to check pimples.
    Mix lemon and honey in equal quantities. Use this to gently massage your face for 10 to 15 minutes. This makes the skin soft and radiant.
    Massage the skin with cream of milk for 5 minutes. Wash it using green gram powder.
    Add few drops of milk to a clean cotton ball. Wipe the face with it. It gently cleanses the skin.
    Steam facial in skin care.
    Steam facial helps to keep the skin hydrated and it increases the blood circulation. Steam facial helps to open the pores and loosen the accumulated dirt. It helps to bring the dirt to the surface which can be removed easily.
    Boil water in a pot till the steam starts appearing. When steam starts coming take the pot and keep it on a table and sit with your face over it. You can use a towel to make a tent to cover your face and head. Cover your eyes with wet cotton or some other means. Make sure that the heat is bearable and comfortable. Let the steam cover your face for 5 to 6 minutes. Later use a cleanser to remove the dirt. You can remove the blackheads by gently applying some pressure on that area. Never remove them with your nails. You can also try adding herbs or essential oils to water used for steam facial.

    Home Remedy For Dark Skin
    • An effective home remedy to cure the problem of dark skin would be to mix 1 tsp of milk powder, 1 tsp of honey, 1 tsp of lemon juice and ½ tsp of almond oil. Make a paste and apply this on the face. Apart from removing the tan, it would also make the skin shine.
    • Take some oatmeal along with curd and tomato juice. Apply this mixture on the face and keep it for about 20 minutes. Wash your face with cold water.
    • Potato acts as a very good bleaching agent. Slice a potato and keep them over the face. This would lighten the marks.
    • Take a little turmeric powder and add a few drops of lime juice. Apply this on the darkened area. This would help to reduce tan effectively.
    • Dry some orange peels. Then, mix them to a bowl of curd. This would be beneficial in removing tan. Keep this for about 15 minutes and wash off with cold water.
    • Another effective remedy to remove tan would be to soak 4 almonds in water and keep it overnight. Grind these almonds to make a paste. Apply this paste at bedtime. In the morning, was off this paste with cold water.
    • Take a tablespoon of gram flour and mix it with 2 tsp of raw milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice. Apply this mixture and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off.
    • Mint leaves work well to remove the dark skin. Take some fresh ground mint leaves and make a paste of it. Keep it for 15 minutes and later rinse of.
    • Grate a tomato and add 2-3 drops of lime to it. Apply this mixture on the face and keep it for 15 minutes. Repeat this two times a day for better results.
    • It is advisable to increase in the intake of water. The more water you have the more toxins flush out from the body and hence have better glowing skin. As per the diet, include whole cereals, vegetables, fruits, pulses etc into your diet.

    I use Witch Hazel as a toner, after washing my face, before moisturizing. I put some Witch Hazel on a round cotton pad and gently rub in circles all over my face. This has really helped even my skin tone, seems to cleanse my pores very well, and provides a gentle amount of exfoliation. I have super sensitive, combination skin and have always struggled with acne. This has been the most successful product for me.

    I have been trying this method to clear my skin every day:
    Massage the skin with cream of milk for 5 minutes. Wash it using green gram powder.
    I ti pretty effective on my skin.

    Very useful home remedies for skin and I am sure these tips will help everyone to take care of their skin through these home remedies rather than going to expensive parlor and beauty saloon.

    I did some research and was looking for a vitamin A remedy I found that liver contains the most vitamin A but I am not going to slap liver on my eyes everynight.So as I was doing more reaserch I found that Carrots contain Vitamin A As well and thats what ill be slapping on my eyes everynight,Thank you. Let me know what you think:)

    Some home remedies for the healthy skin are:

    Take bath daily and use some good quality soap.
    Moisturize your skin daily with almond oil and coconut oil.
    Drink plenty of water.
    Eat fresh fruits and raw vegetables daily.
    Take green tea.
    Protect your skin from dust and sunburn.
