The Government has given approval for starting superspeciality (DM) courses in Endocrinology and Neonatology at Trivandrum Medical College under the aegis of Department of Medical Education, State Minister for Health, Adoor Prakash told. Four seats are available for each course. The Endocrinology course is being started taking into consideration the alarming rate of diabetic and other endocrine related diseases. While, the Neonatology course is sanctioned as a step towards launching intensive care units for newborns in all Medical Colleges.
