Default How long did it take you to learn php?

I'm relatively new to php, and am trying to learn. How long did it take you from the point of 0 php knowledge to a level of competence where you could actually construct your own, functional website?

    PHP is easy to learn...
all u need is basic programming syntax... like C++ maybe...
coz am starting with C++ knowledge....
or if u still doesnt have it, just go through many websites that thaught about programming syntax...
next, what u need is to setup ur own server...
for me, am using XAMPP, or maybe WAMP... which includes PHP, Apache, MySQL in one package... just install that software, and u have it all set-up for u....
when u start to do ur programming, all u need is actually the PHP Manuals which u can get it free from www.php.net/manual...
    happy trying.....

PHP and SQL took me about 3 months to study and make my project for my diploma as programmer analyst.
I have been studying for 3 years the following programming languages:
Pascal, C, C++, dBase, Javascript, Delphi, Visual Basic and others languages as SQL, DOS...

You don't really need to know C++ when trying PHP and stuff.

Just use raw codings and your done.
Yea it Might be hackable, but who needs hackers anyway?
