Google Talk is a great prog. Very slim and sleek. No emoticons or avatars... just the way I like it.

Is there any rooms in the google talk instant messenger service.

if any rooms serices like yahoo chating plzz inform me detailed.

Not sure if GoogleTalk support chat rooms, i think No.

I have not yet downloaded the small software, you really don't need it as Gmail itself allow you to use GoogleTalk within gmail, so no extra software needed. Just login to Gmail, you are loged in with GoogleTalk too.

Personally, I don't like GoogleTalk. It is ok, but it's not exactly what I want. I currently like many ideas that many of the different messengers use, features from aol, yahoo, and msn. Maybe one that is made by someone who uses them on a casual basis(i.e. teens online) can figure out a way to get their own messenger made. I think that it would be a good idea, because you can combine all of your favorite things from each messenger service
