We are moving NetFreeHost.com Hosted phpBB forums to new server.

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+
1 GB RAM
80 GB SATA HDD
FreeBSD 5.4 OS

How long my forum will be down ?

Server move will be complected within 24 Hours as we already moved all data, now we just need to synchronise the data between server, so that no posts will be lost.

Why Move Server ?

Presently we are using AMD Athlon 3000+ server for hosting NetFreeHost.com hosted forums. This server also hosts another web site (www.phpbbweb.com). Last few weeks (or months ?) we found the server load is high at peek hours. This is due to large user base. So it is time to upgrade the server.

How the Server move will affect hosted forums ?


All hosted forums will get faster, as it is hosted on new AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+ server. This server is alone for NetFreeHost.com hosted phpBB forums.


Do i lose posts ?
