    Hey guys,
Didn't check the forum for a while sorry.

This image was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Normally you would do this kind of image using a 3D app like 3dsmax but I don't have that sort of software.

I created the shapes in Illustrator using the pen tool (it's possible to use the pen tool in Photoshop, but not so easier to edit/arrange), and when I had the layout finished I exported the image in Photoshop format.
I then opened the exported file in Photoshop, loaded each shape as a selection (Ctrl-click the layer thumbnail) and used a large soft brush to paint inside the selection to give a gradient and also the illusion of shine.
I used a sharp Inner Shadow layer effect to make it look like each shape had depth.

If you like this kind of image, check out the work of the master, Jens Karlsson: w*w.chapter3.net

    Thanks for the comments :D
