HI,

When I click on any members "Find all posts by (persion name)" this not working to me ...

Following error appear ..

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 144 bytes) in /home/bizhat/forums/search.php on line 648

Please any one tell me why this happens ??

U noticed this error to l8 dude
its a know serch problem
u can try serachin this forum and u'll get the same error

This is a php error
php uses lotsa resources and here 8MB memory is provided to run it
If the memory is increased to 12MB or 16MB will solve the problem. This shud b stated at the top of the script
here its "search.php"

When i complained about this error (about 1 and half month bak) it was ignored
But now its a known problem
I hope it solved soon

Yes, i too noticed this problem long before and u are too late to this Sahil.
But i don't know the technical details pointed out by Guttu abt that 8MB, 12MB, 16MB etc.,

Now the search function is working well.
Also the search function for recent posts is also working now.
Check it out guys.
Hopefully the upload problem too must have been solved.Wait i will check it and confirm.

It stopped workin again
My precious advice(?????????????????) was not implemented
the memory assigned is still 8MB
when the traffic is more on the forum this memory is xausted easily
